Cooperation Partnership in Higher Education

25.12.2025

Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education is an Erasmus+ action that supports transnational cooperation projects aimed at improving the quality, relevance, and innovation capacity of higher education institutions through the development, transfer, and implementation of innovative practices. Cooperation Partnerships in the higher education field are supported with EU grants of up to EUR 400,000 per project, depending on project duration and scope. In Georgia, participation in this action has shown a gradual and measurable increase during the 2021–2027 programme period: while there was no Georgian participation in 2014–2020, Georgian institutions became involved from 2021 onwards, participating in a total of 8 Cooperation Partnership projects by 2025, indicating emerging engagement and growing institutional capacity in this action.
