Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) support the design and development phase of new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes, helping higher education institutions prepare joint curricula, partnership agreements, governance structures, and sustainability plans prior to applying for a full EMJM. EMDM projects are funded through a lump-sum EU grant of up to EUR 60,000 per project, reflecting their preparatory and short-term nature. In Georgia, participation in EMDM has resulted in 1 selected project in 2022.
