Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges (EVE) support online, people-to-people activities that promote intercultural dialogue, soft skills development, and cooperation between young people and educators through structured virtual mobility, complementing physical mobility under Erasmus+. EVE projects are implemented through short, moderated online exchanges and are supported with EU grants typically up to around EUR 500,000 per project, depending on scope and duration. In Georgia, participation in EVE projects during the 2021–2027 programme period has resulted in 7 selected projects, with a steady increase over time—from 1 project in 2021 and 2022 to 3 projects in 2024—indicating growing engagement of Georgian institutions and organisations in Erasmus+ virtual cooperation and digital exchange formats.
