Dr. Irma Grdzelidze has a decade of management experience in Higher Education Quality Assurance. She has served as the coordinator of the SQUARE project, which aims to enhance the quality and relevance of the third mission in Georgian universities. Currently, Dr. Grdzelidze is the Head of the International Accreditation Office and Director of the Strategic Development Department at Caucasus University. She focuses on promoting internal and external QA of study programs, integrating universities into the international education space, and ensuring the quality of teaching, learning, research, and the university’s third mission. In addition to her primary roles, Dr. Grdzelidze administers inquiries, analyzes data, provides recommendations, organizes staff training, and communicates with educational institutions and stakeholders. She also heads the PhD Program in Vocational Education and is actively involved in curriculum development, evaluation of study programs, and overall quality assurance in higher education. Dr. Grdzelidze supervises MA and PhD students. She is EUA-CDE Steering Committee member, DAAD Bologna Peer Hub Support expert systematically contributing with counseling missions and was a Fulbright Scholar at UARK in 2021.
